ABOUT THE HAYLOFT
The Hayloft is open seasonally from mid-May to Halloween. We throw our doors open most Fridays and almost every Saturday for concerts, barn parties, drag and burlesque shows. This year opening night will be May 10th. Check our Events page for show listings and tickets to find an event that's right for you.
PROGRAMMING
Fridays offer concerts from original musical acts or shows by featured comedians or drag artists (past artists include Serena Ryder, Dragonnette, Whitehorse, Stars, Tom Green, Icesis Couture, The Spice Queens). Every Friday is different! Check our Events Page to see what’s on. If no event is listed, that likely means we’re closed. But events are added and announced throughout the season, so check back regularly to see our latest offerings.
Saturdays have two shows!

An early Drag or Burlesque show, beginning at 7 PM with raucous entertainment from some of the top drag and burlesque artists in Canada.

A Barn Party beginning at 9:30 PM. Barn Parties are the best parties and have a history going back 50 years to the earliest days of The Hayloft! Put on your dancing shoes and visit our 100 year old barn for a drink-sloshing, boot-stompin' good time. Dance-able tracks served up by a live band or DJ that will have your booty shaking. And sometimes with pop-up drag or burlesque performances and go-go dancers.
Long Weekend Sundays offer special themed barn parties. From 90’s night, to a Barbie Party to a T-swift themed drag and dance party extravaganza! Check our Events Page for this year’s offerings.
TICKETING
All our events at The Hayloft are ticketed. Tickets can be purchased here through our website & on Eventbrite. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased by any other means.
SHOULD I PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE?
It’s generally recommend to purchase tickets well in advance as many shows sell out. While we do sometimes have door tickets available and a waitlist for sold-out events, buying tickets in advance is the best way to ensure you get into the event you want to attend.

Don't fret - door tickets are sometimes available! Please join the event waitlist through Eventbrite to be first in line for door tickets. Or on the day of the event, check our Instagram updates or message us directly on Instagram to see if door tickets are available.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY TICKETS?
No. Please purchase your tickets carefully - there are no refunds or exchanges on purchased tickets. You are welcome to resell your tickets to another party.
POLICIES, SAFETY, AND ACCESSIBILITY
IS THE HAYLOFT 19+?
All barn parties, concerts, and burlesque shows are strictly 19+ unless otherwise noted.
Youth 14+ may attend seated drag shows on a discretionary basis with parental supervision. Please contact us directly prior to ticket purchase to inquire about bringing any minors into our venue.
SEATING
Barn Parties, Concerts, and "Drag And Dance Party Extravaganza" events are general admission standing room events. Some seating is available to eat, sit and chat with friends, but the main area is open for standing and dancing.
Saturday Drag and Burlesque shows offer a mix of seating and standing room with seating for up to 90 people per show. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis. If you want to ensure you get seats for your group, we strongly recommend you arrive early and enjoy a drink on our patio while you wait for doors to open at 6:00 PM. If you require seating for health or physical ability reasons, contact us.
ACCESSIBILITY
There are no steps leading to the venue, only a small 1-2 inch concrete lip that is not a problem for most wheelchairs or mobility devices. Our bar and washrooms are located on the main floor, but unfortunately do not have handicap stalls and are on the smaller side.
Though seating is not normally guaranteed or reserved at Hayloft events, we are happy to reserve seats for accessibility needs.
SAFETY & INCLUSIVITY
At The Hayloft, we work hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for all our patrons. No homophobia, transphobia, racism, able-ism mysogyny or other kinds of hate or discrimination will be tolerated. Washrooms are all-gender.
Security are onsite at all times for the safety of our patrons and management is always present to deal with any issues that might arise.
