  • Does The Hayloft serve food?
The Hayloft has a snack bar serving hot dogs, grilled cheese, chips, and other cheap and cheerful snacks.
  • Should I buy tickets in advance?
Yes, we always recommend buying in advance as many shows sell out. While we do sometimes have door tickets available and a waitlist for sold-out events, buying tickets in advance is the only way to ensure you get in to an event you want to attend.
  • Is The Hayloft 19+?
Yes, with some exceptions. Youth 14+ are allowed to attend seated drag shows on a discretionary basis with parental supervision. Please contact us directly prior to ticket purchase to inquire about bringing any minors into our venue. Some events may also be designated all-ages events. All barn parties, concerts, and burlesque shows are strictly 19+ unless otherwise noted.
  • When is The Hayloft open? How do I get tickets?
The Hayloft is open seasonally from mid-May to Halloween. We throw our doors open most Friday and Saturday nights for concerts, barn parties, drag and burlesque shows. This year opening night will be May 11th. Check our calendar for show listings and tickets to find an event that's right for you.
  • Are Hayloft events seated?
Saturday Drag and Burlesque shows offer a mix of seating and standing room with seating for up to 90 people per show. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis. If you want to ensure you get seats for your group, we strongly recommend you arrive early and enjoy a drink on our patio while you wait for doors to open at 6:30 PM. If you require seating for health or physical ability reasons, contact us. Barn Parties, Concerts, and "Drag And Dance Party Extravaganza" events are general admission standing room events. Some seating is available to eat, sit and chat with friends, but the main area is open for standing and dancing.
  • Can I return or exchange my tickets?
No. Please purchase your tickets carefully - there are no refunds or exchanges on purchased tickets. You are welcome to resell your tickets to another party.
  • What kind of events does The Hayloft have?
Friday's generally offer concerts from popular Canadian musicians and local County artists as well as drag shows featuring famous drag queens from Canada's Drag Race. Most Saturdays have two shows: An early drag or burlesque show, beginning at 7 PM with raucous entertainment from some of the top drag and burlesque artists in Canada. A Barn Party beginning at 9:30 PM. Barn Parties are the best parties and have a history going back 50 years to the earliest days of The Hayloft! Put on your dancing shoes and visit our 100 year old barn for a drink-sloshing, boot-stompin' good time. Dance-able tracks served up by a live band or DJ that will have your booty shaking. And sometimes with pop-up drag or burlesque performances and go-go dancers!
  • Where are the closest accommodations?
Prince Edward County offers a range of accommodation options, from fancy hotels, to B & B's to camping! Isaiah Tubbs is one of the closest motels, with the complimentary shuttle bus stopping there and providing easy transport to the Hayloft. The Drake and The Royal offer fancier accommodation options with The Hayloft shuttle stopping closeby to both locations. Quinte Isle offers plentiful camping options for cars, tents and RV's, but books up quickly. If you manage to book a site there, though, it's within walking distance of The Hayloft. Campgrounds at Outlet Beach in Sandbanks Provincial Park are also within walking distance of The Hayloft. Just bring a flashlight and reflective clothing.
  • An event is SOLD OUT! Is there any way to get tickets?
Don't fret! Door tickets are sometimes available! Please join the event waitlist through eventbrite to be first in line for door tickets. Or on the day of the event, check our Instagram updates or message us directly on Instagram to see if door tickets are available.
  • Where is The Hayloft? How do I get there?
The Hayloft is located in beautiful Cherry Valley on the shores of Lake Ontario, close to Sandbanks Provincial Park. You can get to The Hayloft by car, taxi, Uride, or our complimentary bus service. For more info about how to get to the Hayloft, check out our How to Get Here page.
  • Is The Hayloft accessible?
There are no steps leading to the venue, only a small 1-2 inch concrete lip that is not a problem for most wheelchairs or mobility devices. Our bar and washrooms are located on the main floor, but unfortunately do not have handicap stalls and are on the smaller side.
